"Emo Adam"

My name is Adam Holisky, I’m an editor over at the site WoW.com.  WoW.com is one of the top World of Warcraft news and information sites on the net.  The site is owned by Weblogs, Inc., which is part of AOL.  Yes, after years of getting little CDs in the mail I have connections to that company.  They still have not refunded the $150 internet bill I racked up for my parents back in ’93 though.

Besides my work at WoW.com, I’m also in college with the goal to slowly obtain some degree.  I’m not really sure what the hell I’m going to end up with.  But hey, that’s part of the fun, right?

Previously I worked for several years as the Production and Personnel Manager for the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra.  I’ve done additional work in theater and behind-the-scenes stuff in the entertainment business.   I’ve done every type of show – from simple lectures to complicated operatic productions, and have worked in every position – from stage hand to sound technician to stage manager.

In addition to all this I have been known to have several private clients whom consult with me regarding their technical needs.  That’s a fancy way of saying a few people like to call me up and have me do their computer work.

This site is my personal blog, where I’m going to attempt to post one thing a day about what I’m up to.  Or failing that, something insane that I find on the internet.  I’m also not going to rule out the possibility that I’m going to rant about something WoW related or some bullshit comment that appeared on WoW.com.
